Sometimes, deep in the night when I am restless I will pick up my Bible and turn to a random page and passage. Last night these two partial verses were where I found myself.
We can forget when we are having troubles that the Lord is with us. He searches and test our mind and hearts. He truly sees us for who we are. Not our strife, not our failures, just clearly who we are. At these times I will also pray a prayer of thanksgiving and one that searches my heart and mind. God already knows my every need, He has my current moment and every future moment in hand. It is mine to remember this and to simply move forward in confidence and in His will.
Life will get to us at times, but we cannot forget that the Lord is with us and in all that is happening.
Reflect on: In the depths of what we are going through, God knows us and is there for us. He IS the mighty, awesome One!
